On Sunday we went out to test our Klein Side Scan Sonar and Sub-Bottom Profiler equipment. So we decided to head out to do imaging of the sunken ship wreck of the Straits of Mac about 12 miles NE from Diversey Harbor in Chicago Illinois.

Great dive trip to the Straights of Mac shipwreck

Had a great bunch of Shedd Aquarium Divers out of a dive on the Straights of Mac dive site. Also a bit of info on the dive…… water temp at the surface was 73 degrees , temp at 76ft was 46 degrees. Visibility around the wreck was roughly 30 ft, and visibility inside the wreck was pristine.
